So as promised I’m going to tell you all about the joys of PGP (Pelvic Girdle Pain) or SPD (Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction). If you are one of the lucky ones like me you will suffer from this and if you are even luckier, (also like me) you will start to experience this in your first trimester.
Having sat here for quite some time pondering what to write I thought I would actually reflect on some of the unpleasant symptoms of the first trimester in a bit more detail, look away now if you’re squeamish!
It was Monday night, 4th of July (US Independence day) and the wife reminded me that it was first scan day tomorrow. I thought, best get an early night as I normally wake up late for work and not getting enough sleep because of Ramadan and staying up through the night.
So today’s the day we finally get to meet our little Bean! Obviously I haven’t slept because I’ve been too anxious about whether He/she will be healthy and ‘normal’.
So today has been a particularly bad day and since this blog is supposed to be me being brutally honest about my pregnancy journey, this is me being brutally honest! Enjoy!
